(1) Job Purpose/Role:

Dhaman is seeking a Head of Office for its regional branch in Riyadh-KSA to build a profitable and sustainable credit and political risk insurance portfolio, with specific accountability for delivering business growth, client retention, new business, and operational excellence in line with the Operations Department distribution and sales strategy.

(2) Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the annual sales plan and budget of the regional branch in Riyadh.
  • Lead an established and client-focused branch.
  • Build an extensive network with banks, financial institutions, exporters, investors, brokers, and other market players.
  • Deliver individual sales activities and acquire new businesses in credit and political risk insurance.
  • Drive quality, consistency, and accuracy in all aspects of the business development process.
  • Develop and maintain the book of business and oversight accounts managed by the Accounts management team.
  • Work collaboratively with other units and section heads at the headquarters in Kuwait to ensure client retention and sales targets are achieved through effective use of the consultative selling approach, including best practices for sales efforts and initiatives, product and solution insights, and negotiation tactics.
  • Present Dhaman at events, seminars, workshops, webinars, and other business-related events.
  • Perform any ad hoc tasks assigned by the head of the Department.
  • Coordinate with the HR & Administrative department, to manage the day-to-day activities and needs of the Office.

(3) Minimum Qualifications & Experience Required to Fill this Post:

  • Master’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration or Economics, plus 7 years of relevant experience in the sales of credit and political risks insurance, banking, or investment and financial institutions; Or Bachelor’s degree plus 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Good knowledge of international trade, trade and project finance, foreign direct investments, and credit insurance.
  • Previous experience in a multilateral institution is an asset.

(4) Required Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present in Arabic and English, knowledge of French is an asset.
  • Good Knowledge of international trade, trade and project finance, foreign direct investments, and credit insurance.
  • Ability to work well within a team, under pressure, and to meet deadlines.
  • Good computer literacy and proficiency in Word, Excel, PPT, etc.
