(1) Job Purpose/Role:

Dhaman’s Marketing & Partnerships Division is seeking a Senior Operations Officer; for Export credit sales to achieve new business targets through the assigned distribution channels and in line with the Export Credit Insurance Division and the Marketing & Partnerships Division distribution and sales strategy. The candidate will have his/her new business targets to build a profitable and sustainable export credit insurance portfolio from Arab exporters and non-Arab suppliers of commodities from the rest of the world.

(2) Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the annual sales plan and budget.
• Deliver individual sales activities and acquires new business in short-term export credit insurance.
• Plan and oversee new sales initiatives.
• Build an extensive network with prospects, brokers, and other market players.
• Generate and convert leads to customers.
• Register/record and maintain data on the sales activities in the CRM system.
• Prepare insurance offers and issue new insurance policies.
• Represent Dhaman in business events.
• Perform any ad hoc tasks assigned by the head of the Division.

(3) Minimum Qualifications & Experience Required to Fill this Post:

• Master’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration or Economics, plus 7 years of relevant experience in the sales of credit and political risks insurance, banking, or investment and financial
  institutions; Or Bachelor’s degree plus 10 years of relevant experience.
• Good Knowledge of international trade, trade finance, foreign direct investments, and credit insurance.
• Previous experience in an international organization is an asset.

(4) Required Skills:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present in Arabic and English, knowledge of French is an asset.
• Ability to work well within a team, under pressure, and to meet deadlines.
• Good computer literacy and proficiency in Word, Excel, PPT, etc.
